All Cuban art deco Miami South beach

We drove down to Miami today about 1 hour from Boca Raton.
The famous south beach where there are so many beautiful art deco style buildings facing the ocean.
Greg's friends who is behind the wheel could not believe his luck to find the spot to park on this strip.
He has been down here so many times but has never been able to park for the last 40 years.
The house of Versace was found on the middle of the promenade with hundreds of restaurants & cafes.
Sadly, Gianni Versace was murdered on his door step of this beach front house.
Versace logo 'the head of Medusa' can still be seen but the house is being converted to a restaurant and is due to open next week.
I guess it will be an Italian restaurant?

Where is Cuban cigar, Greg?

Yep! It was damn cold.
Are we in Florida?

As you can see, it was 65F(about 18C).
And, this morning?
It was freeeezing 4C.
But, never mind!
There were people everywhere enjoying see breeze(bloody cold) and sunshine whenever wherever they can.^^
You will have to speak Spanish here otherwise you get Cuban sandwich with pork and ham when you ordered tuna sandwich.

Beautiful Versace house again!

Cute little gallery right next to the house of Versace

People visiting from Iceland or Canada will be the only ones still sun-baking on this hotel pool deck.
Suppose, only formula for being in bikini will be a sun and a beach!

Art deco building
This is a nice art deco building

Beautiful white beach.
Yes, I have to put my feet on it to prove that I have been on Miami beach.

How fairy is that color?

Cocktail anyone?
Mojito or Margarita?
Special special!
It is $25 for two.
It is still $25 when you order for one cocktail.
Artistic photo, isn't it?

Perhaps, this is the building zoomed in from the movie 'Bird Cage' with Robin Williams?

Start feeling Cuban, yet?
Obviously, there are millions of Cubans living here!

Presentation is very important, too.
A girl is busy to hand out discount(?) vouchers to tourists.

Restaurant 'Atlanta' that we had lunch.
Just about everything went wrong with orders and we waited for our foods for half an hour.
Surprisingly, my shrimp linguine was excellent with generous portion of shrimp.

After all, it was such a lovely day.
We did walk up and down the street and the beach of Miami!
