Sandwich Harbour, Namibia

Namibia is very young country in African south west coast.

Only 20 years old.

It used to be part of South Africa only until 1990!

We took a tour offered by the cruise ship.

Southern part of port Walvis bay(Walvis is whale in Dutch) where we docked.
There were about 40 passengers have taken this tour.
3 or 4 people got on these 4 wheel drive.

Milions of flamengos, coromats and birds birds and birds...

Sand dunes at Sandwich Harbour

There is nothing but the lagoon where you can see more fish than water, sand dunes and milions of birds

I did climb up all the way to the top of the dune.

With just few breaks.

Lucky to catch the flying flamengoes in line!

Other people also wanted to climb the dune

La la la, lunch time.

More than 10 white all bloke 4 wheel drivers prepared this beautiful lunch.

Not only these seafood platters were delicious but fresh oysters also.

Needless to say about fresh glass of bubbly champagine!

Flamengoes did not like me approaching.

Hello seal!

There were few dead seals on the beach due to lack of fish on paticular time of the year.

It requires quite a skill to drive on this sand dune!

No, it was not me who is up on the sky hang-gliding.

Wish I was, though.

This vast sand dunes are simply overwhelming!!!

It was about 30 degree we are just about to sliding down.

Yeh eee

We did it!!!

Be careful, lady!

It will take whole afternoon for you to climb back here once you fall.

Well, it was one of the high light.

What an experience on sand dune!
