Warnemünde, Germany 18May2015

Warnemünde is a seaside resort town
where cruise ships visit as gateway to Berlin.

We both have been to Berlin before.
Last time when I was in the city was in
early 90's and all the cranes in the world
gathered in the city being used for building
hundreds and thousands in construction sites
after the Wall collapse in 1989.

Willkommen Warnemünde!

We wanted to go and see the changes that
has been made since last visits.
But, it takes nearly 3 hours each by train from the port
and we are here only for a day.

A week wasn't enough in Berlin last time
and surely half a day wouldn't be enough.

So, we decide to go to Rostock instead
and put off the visit the wonderful city of Berlin
for a next time.

It only took us 15 minutes to Rostock by train.

We were so surprised by it's
beautiful architectures and old charm.

Shopping was a bonus
as we bought few shirts and shoes.
Loved the German designs and price! ;)

We bought a packet of strawberries here.
So fresh, juicy and sweet!
The very best one we ever have.

We still have some time left when we came back
to Warnemünde from cute Rostock.

It is a lovely small seaside village
