La Boqueria Market, Barcelona

Through the ports we have visited by
the grand world voyage,
passengers are spoilt in many ways.

One of them is complimentary shuttle bus
from the pier to designated spot in town,
usually town centre.

But, there is a ticket to purchase for that
here in Barcelona.
It was not much and it only took
about 10 minutes bus ride.

Some people complaint but
we were well aware of it from previous visits.

We decided to spend a day with
other friends Bob and Ron from Florida.

It was La Boqueria market on
tourists packed, ever popular street of La Rambla
where we went first after we got off the shuttle bus.

It became our ritual to have delicious
cafe latte with Spanish omelette
right here in the market
whenever we are in town.

It always gives us pleasure
to look at these wonderful
products beautifully presented.

Melt in your mouth, Iberico Jamon. Yum..

Jamon in nice packages

We took our American friends to
this wonderful restaurant for light lunch
near Plaza Catalunya.
It also became our favourite place for Spanish Tapas.

Enjoying a beautiful day
strolling around the Plaza

There were plenty of Buskers
 in almost every corner of
this fabulous city.

These boys were particularly good
and the music they played was excellent.
