Putrajaya, Malysia - 100% man-made city

Cruise terminal, Port Kelang.

Port Kelang is gateway port for the capital, Kuala Lumpur.
Yet the port alone does not offer much,
shore excursion on board offers many option for passengers.
We have chosen Putrajaya city tour as
we have been to K.L many times before.

I have never heard of this city until recently
mentioned by a friend who strongly recommended to visit.

About half an hour drive through palm oil farms
and rubber tree farms
by tour bus from both Port Kelang
and Kuala Lumpur.

Putrajaya is about 20 years old planned city.
It was built purely for the federal administration
as the capital K.L is getting too crowded.
All government department buildings are relocated to here
and only the palace and the parliament remain in K.L.

Convention centre

Our tour includes an hour cruise on the lake
that forms centre of the city.

Iron mosque, built by mostly steel.

Was quite hot and humid but lucky to have blue sky.

A mosque on the left and the Prime Minister's office on the right.

Driving back to Port Kelang.
